My Story
I was never an exceptional student, nor was I naturally gifted in any particular field. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my career options were limited. After scraping through school with a handful of GCSEs, I found myself with two choices, working in a supermarket or a builders merchant. I chose the latter, lifting 50kg cement bags as a skinny teenager. It was tough, but it gave me financial freedom and a sense of responsibility.
Like many, I followed the expected path, work, relationships, family, mortgage. Life was steady but uninspiring. I existed for others, feeling needed yet unchallenged. But then, a spark of interest in security work changed everything. I trained as a door supervisor, which led to a bodyguard course. What started as curiosity became a career.
By 2004, I left my 9-to-5 to pursue specialist security. I became a Private Investigator and Close Protection Operator, working high-profile assignments in London. I trained others, managed operations, and built a successful business. Yet, the demands were relentless, and by 2018, I faced a choice, compromise or stand my ground. I chose integrity, which led to a shift in direction.
Now, I prioritize balance. I still work in Private Investigation and Security but focus on self-improvement, learning new skills, and guiding others. Life is about adapting, growing, and taking control. My journey has taught me that capability is earned, not given. I share my experiences to help others break free from limitations and carve their own paths.
I was average. I improved. I became needed. I am capable.

Not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time.
